Laura and Chiara Bettinelli, were born in Bergamo in 1966 and 1968 and graduated in Architecture from Politecnico of Milan.
After several experiences between Bergamo and Milan, they started working in the technical study of their father, Rocco Bettinelli, a civil engineer active for over fifty years.
The core of their design is combining elements of contemporary architecture in historical contexts and with traditional architecture, avoiding stylistic mannerisms.
An excellent relationship with the artisans facilitates their attention for details and their exploration of potentiality and lacks of a material or a single component.
The current contracts includes projects for several private houses, shops, and some conversion of buildings to residential use.
From 2013 they have also a studio in London (UK).
